RAPID REPAIR HOME APPLIANCE SERVICE  SERVICE CALL POLICY

 

We set an appointment for a service call where we send our trained technician to visit the customers home to diagnose the issue with their appliance. All that is required during the service call is:

·         Arrive at the customer’s home anytime within the scheduled time window.

·         Diagnose the problem with the appliance.

·         Inform customer of the issue.

·         Tech receives service call fee.  Or Warranty deductible (if applicable. See note)

·         Service call Fee is non-refundable once the technician leaves the premises.

 

If Customer chooses to have the appliance repaired, they must:

·         Be informed by technician of cost if part is available on site, or no part is needed.

·         Pre pay for any parts to be ordered by Rapid Repair via cash or credit/debit

·         Be informed of parts return policy (30% restocking fee) If they choose not to move forward after part has been ordered.

 

When the possibility that the technician does not have the part to complete repair or is unable to advise customer of cost for part or repair, the office manager will contact the client within 24 hours to advise them of the cost of repair, the cost of the part, or if we are unable to acquire the part. If we are able to acquire the part, the customer is advised of the prepay policy and will be charged for repair and part cost prior to ordering the part.

 

Once the part is received by Rapid Repair, we then call the client to schedule a time convenient for them to complete the repair.

·         90 day limited warranty on parts

·         If your client has any other problems (new problem unrelated to your first visit issue) within 90 days from the date of original repair, we promise to fix it with a 10% discount on labor on the second service call.

·         Rapid Repair Home Appliance Service warrants any parts installed on your appliances from the original date of service unless otherwise stated during this 90 day period

·         The original receipt must be retained for proof of warranty

·         Non payment of service voids any warranty

·         Rapid Repair will service your appliance on sight, within our normal service area only,

·         At our option, we will repair your appliance with like or similar parts

·         If the appliance is serviced opened or otherwise tampered with by anyone other than Rapid Repair, either before or after our visit. This warranty becomes Null and void

·         There is a 30% restocking fee for returned parts of due to change of mind on repair or install

·         In the event we are assisting you with a warranty call, and we need to visit your home more than 3 times, we may request a $20 travel charge to assist on subsequent visits.

·         In the event that there is a missed appointment and the customer does not notify Rapid Repair that they will not be available during their scheduled service window, they may be charged with a $20 rescheduling fee.

          Rapid Repair is not responsible and will not warrant any appliance or subsequent damage of an appliance due to:

·         Improper installation and maintenance by the customer.

·         Replacement of house fuses resetting circuit breakers or turning on water valves

·         Issues arising from natural disasters, external forces, or “acts of GOD” (ie lightning strikes, tornados, hail hurricane water damages mold mildew etc.)

·         Failure of the product, If is used for other than its intended purposes, abused or used commercially, unless noted in a contract between customer and and Rapid Repairs ie apt. building contracts

          Coincidental failure of other parts of machine not related to repair or part supplied

·         Parts that becomes no longer available from the manufacture.

·         Normal wear, corrosion, or cosmetic damage and or other damage that does not affect the functionality

·         Electric or electronic parts damaged due to short circuits, power surges or acts of nature

·         Sealed system refrigeration repair that involve leaks or blockages when the origin of problem cannot be determined.

          Your payment of an invoice constitutes your acceptance of all terms set forth on this page. You accept this responsibility and hold harmless Rapid Repair Home Appliance Service, their  officers, employees, associates and affiliates from and against any and all claims, suits, liens, judgments, damages,losses and expenses including reasonable legal fees and cost arising in whole or in part and in any manner from acts, omissions, breach, or default. Should any dispute arise with Rapid Repair Home Appliance Service you agree that exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any litigation arising out of such dispute shall be in Prince Georges County MD

 

·         Written copy provided with every repair and ON DATE OF SERVICE. Copy may be obtained by calling office.

·         This warranty is extended to the original appliance, original consumer only. This warranty shall be effective 90 days from the due date of repair. The warranty provided herein is in lieu of other expressed warranties and implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchant ability or fitness for intended use which are limited in duration to the periods define above and below.

·         As a condition precedent to this Warranty, the Original owner Consumer must notify in writing Rapid Repair Home Appliance Service ., at 17011 Livingston Rd Accokeek Md 20607, within 90 days from the date of repair of existing problems. Failure to comply with this notification within the time provided will relieve Rapid Repair Home Appliance Service from any responsibility under this warranty.
